A strike team from the Davis Fire Department is among the crews battling multiple wildfires in Colusa County.
Spokeswoman Evelyn George said an acting captain and three firefighters left Davis at 5:45 p.m. Sunday bound for the Stonyford/Maxwell area. She said they worked fire lines through the night and will be reassigned to additional duties after taking a 12-hour break today.
A total of five wildfires have burned about 2,500 acres in Colusa County and were about 10 percent contained as of this morning, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection website.
