This sounds like a lot of hooey if you ask me. I’ve lived in that area for over 15 years and there has never been any foot patrol officers there. Especially at 1 am!?! I think the police were definitely waiting for Perry and most likely are lying about the threat as 1: They have something against her personally 2: They lied about the foot patrol so chances are anything else said about this incident from the police could easily be false. As far as Equador being a misspell (as I get a red squiggly line under it) it may not be as there is a Equador in Brazil and many streets named Equador all over America.

“Foot patrol officers encountered Stacey Lynn Perry at about 1:10 a.m. in the area of Corona Drive and Ecuador Place.”

As Bob Dunning has written many times, this street is spelled incorrectly. Maybe it should be Ecuador Place. But in fact it is Equador Place.

Perhaps Miss Stacey Lynn Perry can claim her innocence by reason of insanity due to malicious orthography? Bad spelling certainly drives me crazy–except when the mistakes are my own.
