Rick you might want to take a closer look at that UC Schedule before you make personal attacks on people. Garamendi Jr. was a good vice chancellor and if you compare salaries across the vice-chancellors of all of the UCs. Garamendi Jr.’s salary was in fact one of the lowest for his position. The vice chancellor at UC Davis in 2009 got paid more than the chancellor in 2010. Garamendi Sr. is currently spearheading an effort to stop government subsidies to Oil Companies and divert those subsidies to students. So do me and everyone else a favor and stop making ridiculous statements over the internet without prior research.

The cops were doing their job – not sure what other planet you live on, but they were enforcing the law on the books. In many other situations, you would kiss them for protecting you or those you love.

Now they could have made a kinder decision, and through dialogue with them, we can hope for better resolutions in the future. We must move beyond this.
