Woodland police arrested a man they say intentionally drove his car through the front window of a business Wednesday morning.

Cpl. Dave Krause said officers responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. to the business in the 1200 block of East Main Street, where 56-year-old Dennis Cortopassi of Woodland drove his car through the glass storefront, “then entered the business and began throwing items from the displays.”

No one was injured during the incident, but Cortopassi found himself under arrest on suspicion of vandalism, burglary and battery, Krause said. He was lodged at the Yolo County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
