Masked man attempts to rob pharmacy

A masked man attempted to rob the CVS/pharmacy Wednesday on West Covell Boulevard, Davis police report.

The man entered the store about 7 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier, but fled on foot when he heard another employee in the store calling for security. Police were told that no weapon was seen.

Once Davis police officers arrived on the scene, they searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The man is described as white, approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen walking toward Covell Boulevard wearing a black mask and a black hooded sweatshirt with a marijuana leaf inside a white circle.

Anyone with information about this incident should call police at 530-747-5400.
