By From page A2 | August 21, 2014

Two people were hospitalized following a rear-end collision in South Davis on Wednesday, according to the Davis Fire Department.

Spokeswoman Evelyn George said the two vehicles crashed at about 5:35 p.m. on the onramp from Mace Boulevard to eastbound Interstate 80, then struck a light pole that was knocked down by the impact.

An ambulance transported two people to a Sacramento hospital with unspecified injuries following the incident, George said.
