Police investigate robbery at Nugget

Davis police are seeking information about a man who robbed a Nugget Market cashier Monday evening.

Lt. Paul Doroshov said the suspect entered the store at 1414 E. Covell Blvd. at about 6:30 p.m. and made threatening statements toward the employee while demanding money from the cash register. No weapon was seen. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no injuries were reported.

Doroshov described the suspect as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, standing about 6-foot-4 and weighing about 200 pounds. He wore a hat and red plaid shirt at the time of the robbery.
