Davis police are seeking an intruder who fled from a woman’s apartment early Wednesday morning.

Lt. Paul Doroshov said the 21-year-old woman awoke to a chemical smell at about 4:20 a.m. and discovered an unknown male standing in her bedroom at the University Court Apartments, 515 Sycamore Lane. She screamed, and the man fled. No injuries were reported.

Doroshov described the suspect only as a male of unknown age, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
