By From page A3 | July 04, 2014

A fire displaced two people and their pet cat from their home Wednesday night, according to the Davis Fire Department.

The 8:20 p.m. blaze started on and was confined to the exterior of the home in the 200 block of Quarter Circle in East Davis’ Rancho Yolo mobile home community, but not before causing an estimated $20,000 in damage, Fire Department spokeswoman Evelyn George said. The cause is under investigation.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the residents until they can return to their home, George said.
