Davis police are continuing to investigate a weekend robbery that injured a local man.

Officers were summoned shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday to the ATM area of Wells Fargo Bank, 340 F St., where the 33-year-old victim reported being beaten and robbed by two male suspects, Lt. Paul Doroshov said.

The victim said he had met the two suspects earlier that night at a downtown bar. When he ran out of money, the threesome walked to the bank, where the suspects reportedly beat the victim and robbed him after he withdrew an undisclosed amount of cash, Doroshov said.

Medical personnel treated the victim’s injuries at the scene.

Doroshov described the suspects as two Latino males in their early 20s, about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with thin builds. Anyone with information is asked to call the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
