Shots fired at Woodland house

By From page A2 | October 18, 2013

Police in Woodland are investigating the Tuesday night shooting of an occupied home.

Sgt. Steve Guthrie said police were called shortly before 10 p.m. to the 1300 block of Colfax Drive, where both the house and a nearby car had been struck by at least one bullet. Witnesses reported hearing three to four shots fired at the scene, but no injuries were reported.

It’s unclear whether the house or the car was the intended target of the shooting, Guthrie said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Woodland Police Department at 530-661-7800.
