Teens arrested in Woodland burglary

By From page A4 | September 29, 2013

Three teenagers were arrested last week after allegedly breaking into a Woodland home.

On Thursday morning, police received a call of a burglary in progress on the 1000 block of Bourn Avenue. A responding officer spotted a two-door red Honda Accord with black rims, matching a description witnesses had given a dispatcher, driving away from the area.

Once backup arrived, officers pulled the car over. Police say they were able to determine that the 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl, both of Woodland, and a 15-year-old girl from Knights Landing had taken part in the burglary.

The three were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy and booked into Yolo County Juvenile Hall. Investigators are working to determine if any of the suspects have been involved in earlier burglaries.
