Davis police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a July 13 burglary on Oyster Bay Avenue.
James Austin Black, 19, was taken into custody Wednesday in Dixon on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and possession of stolen property, Lt. Paul Doroshov said.
Black and two other people — Jared Grensted, 20, of Davis, and Elvira Maria Lemos, 18 — have been charged in the burglary, in which the suspects allegedly ransacked the West Davis home before stealing jewelry and other property.
Police say hours after the burglary, Grensted acted as the getaway driver following a home-invasion robbery on Notre Dame Drive in which two other men, Winters brothers Eric and Bryan Panzich, are alleged to have pepper-sprayed the residents before stealing “a large amount of cocaine,” Davis police said at the time.
That incident eventually to a raid on the Notre Dame house, where Yolo County Narcotic Enforcement Team agents arrested 22-year-old Lucas Ritter on drug-related charges.
Ritter is due back in Yolo Superior Court on Sept. 20 for a pre-hearing conference. Grensted and the Panzich brothers have a similar hearing in their case on Sept. 22.
