By From page A2 | July 09, 2013

Three people were hurt in a two-car collision at West Covell Boulevard and Highway 113 on Sunday afternoon, Davis police said.

The crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. when a Mitsubishi driven by 27-year-old Rocio Boites of Davis was struck while making a left turn, Lt. Glenn Glasgow said. The second vehicle was a BMW driven by Davis resident Ingrid Luxkinderman, 40.

Three people — both drivers and a passenger in Boites’ car — sustained minor injuries in the collision and were taken to area hospitals for treatment, Glasgow said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
