Witnesses to Woodland hit-and-run sought

The Woodland Police Department continues to seek additional witnesses to a Sept. 14 hit-and-run accident in which a driver was hurt.

Police were called to a collision at about 9:30 p.m. that night at California Street and West Southwood Drive. Both cars suffered major damage, but one driver fled on foot. The second driver was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police did not give a description of the missing driver or the vehicles. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 530-661-7880.
