An Olympic Valley woman suffered the loss of several fingers in a rollover crash Friday in Davis, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Janeann Erman Kellermyer, 74, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 west of Richards Boulevard when she drifted into the center median and struck a plastic impact barrel shortly before 1 p.m. Friday, Officer Bryan Konvalin said.

The collision caused Kellermyer’s Subaru Legacy to roll over, causing major damage to the vehicle and the amputation of several of Kellermyer’s fingers, Konvalin said. She was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
