Woman robbed at gunpoint in North Davis

Davis police are seeking a man who robbed at woman at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Lt. Paul Doroshov said the suspect approached the victim at about 3 p.m. in the 700 block of Alvarado Avenue, pulling out a handgun and threatening to shoot her if she did not hand over her purse. The woman complied, and the suspect fled.

He was described as an African-American man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing long pants and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
