By From page A5 | November 11, 2012

A Woodland church was burglarized and vandalized Friday after a suspect broke through a window to gain access into the building.

When Woodland Police officers arrived at St. Luke’s Church, 515 Second St., they found the church office had been ransacked.

The suspect used a fireplace tool to force open desk drawers and cabinets looking for items of value, according to the Woodland Police Dept. press release.

The exact value of the property stolen is not known.

The office sustained “major” vandalism in the process of ransacking the church.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Woodland Police Department at 530-661-7800.
