Woodland police say two men in a truck tried to lure a girl into their vehicle Tuesday night.
Sgt. Darren Imus said the girl, whose age was not disclosed, was walking in the area of Beamer Street and Frost Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when a green, older-model Nissan pickup pulled up alongside her.
One of the occupants got out of the truck and tried to lure the girl inside, but she was able to run away, Imus said. She described the man as a 30-year-old Latino male, 6-foot-2 with a medium build, shaved head and goatee. He wore a white shirt, red shorts and red shoes.
There is no description of the second suspect at this time, Imus said.
