Woodland man dies in I-5 crash

By From page A2 | December 04, 2013

A crash along Interstate 5 in Sacramento claimed the life of a 29-year-old Woodland man on Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Reports indicate Adam Robert Gunther was traveling northbound on the freeway north of West El Camino Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, he apparently lost control of his truck, which veered across all lanes of the freeway before striking a tree.

Emergency personnel pronounced Gunther dead at the scene, the CHP reported. Gunther was previously a longtime resident of Davis and graduated from Davis High School in 2002.
