Cruise-in to classic car show

By April 12, 2011

Car enthusiasts, from left, Bruce Risley, with his ’36 Chevy; Bob Kelly, ’37 Chevy; and Ron Vogel, ’69 AMC AMX, are ready for the Davis Cruise-in car shows, which start Tuesday, April 19. The shows run from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Marketplace shopping center parking lot on Covell Boulevard between Anderson Road and Highway 113. On the third Tuesday of every month through the summer, car enthusiasts can meet to display their own cars, view those of other “car nuts” and swap classic car tales, a news release said. Last year’s events proved popular with as many as 76 cars displayed in October. For more information, contact Vogel at (530) 220-1973 or [email protected] Fred Gladdis/Enterprise photo
