Detroit steel, Davis asphalt

By From page A1 | May 15, 2012

Steve West of Davis and his sons Sean, 11, and Evan, 14, look at a 1937 Chevrolet Master DeLuxe owned by Bob Kelley of Davis at the April Cruise-In at The Marketplace Shopping Center. The monthly event — a show of 60 to 80 classic cars, trucks, military vehicle and motorcycles, both foreign and domestic — will return Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the shopping center, Sycamore Lane and Covell Boulevard in West Davis.

There is no cost to show a car, and visitors are invited to talk with owners in the informal setting. Refreshments will be available.

The Cruise-In continues on the third Tuesday of each month through October. Rain will cancel the show.
