Davis Community Gift Project underway again

By From page A10 | December 12, 2013

The Davis Community Gift Project is back again, promising a better holiday season for disadvantaged children in the community.

Now in its 17th year, the project collects donations of new toys for low-income and homeless children, as well as those in group homes.

Community members can sign up to donate a gift at http://bit.ly/DavisGiftProject by selecting a child based on age and gender. Categories include everyone from newborns to teen boys and girls. Donations of diapers are also needed.

Gifts should be delivered unwrapped to the DCC office at 412 C St. The deadline for dropping off gifts is Tuesday, Dec. 17.
