The Davis Democratic Club invites all Davis Democrats to join a pre-primary election rally from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 25, at the home of club board member and former president Bob Bockwinkel, 813 Barcelona Ave.

Newly elected Democratic Club President Stephen Souza urges residents to come and meet Dan Wolk, a candidate for state Assembly; Don Saylor, a candidate for Yolo County supervisor; Jesse Ortiz, a candidate for Yolo County superintendent of schools; Rick Cohen, a candidate for Yolo Superior Court judge; Sheila Allen, a candidate for Davis City Council; and Cass Sylvia, a candidate for Yolo County public guardian.

Representatives of Rep. John Garamendi’s campaign for U.S. Congress will attend as well.
Coffee, doughnuts, bagels, cream cheese and juice will be served. All are invited to participate in walking precincts or making phone calls. Lawn signs for the candidates also will be available.

For more information, call Bockwinkel at 530-219-1985.
