Business owners and community members are invited to Davis Downtown’s brown-bag lunch meeting Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Varsity Theatre to take a look at the redesigned Davis Downtown website and new mobile application scheduled for release this month.

The website will host a variety of new features that give visitors access to a wealth of information about downtown Davis. New features include responsive design, enhanced maps and business listings, improved social media integration and an enhanced event calendar.

The group also will review the new Davis Downtown mobile app, which will give users quick access to downtown business listings, parking information, Second Friday ArtAbout details, an event calendar, transportation resources and Farmers Market information.

The brown-bag lunch meeting will run from noon to 1 p.m. at the Varsity Theatre, 616 Second St. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch or purchase one at any downtown eatery.

For more information, contact Davis Downtown director Stewart Savage at 530-392-8324 or stewart@DavisDowntown.com.
