Robert Horel will reprise and expand the talk he gave to the Placer County Navy League titled “9/11 and the Collapse of Building 7″ at the Davis for 9/11 Truth meeting on Wednesday. The group will gather at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Davisville Apartments, 1221 Kennedy Place.

Horel’s talk and PowerPoint presentation will last about an hour, after which he will be available for questions.

Horel received his master’s degree from UC Davis, then went to work for the state of California, where he eventually became a deputy director and program manager for California’s $11 billion welfare system. He then went to work for the California Department of Corrections, rising to the governor-appointed position of chief of fiscal programs, responsible for budgeting, accounting and fiscal policy for the Youth and Adult Correctional Agency.

His last position with the state was as warden at Pelican Bay State Prison.

Horel has taught graduate and undergraduate classes in mathematics, management and statistics at Golden Gate University, University of Phoenix, College of the Redwood and Southwest Oregon Community College.
