A downtown employee reported being robbed Sunday afternoon by two men, Davis police said.
According to Lt. Paul Doroshov, the woman was closing the Shuz of Davis store at 801 Second St. at about 4 p.m. when she noticed the men loitering outside the business.
“As she was leaving the store and walking toward her car, one of the subjects grabbed the victim from behind and demanded her wallet,” Doroshov said. The victim complied and handed over her wallet, and the suspects were last seen running north on H Street.
No weapons were seen during the incident, Doroshov said.
Both suspects were described as being in their 20s or early 30s. One was a Latino male, 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with very short black hair and brown eyes. He wore an oversized blue button-up short-sleeved shirt and oversized dark jeans.
His accomplice was described as an African-American male, about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes. He wore a red-and-white T-shirt and black jeans.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
