Make dinner a selfless act by joining fellow Davisites for a fundraiser to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Chipotle, 227 E St. in downtown Davis.

Diners must bring in a copy of a flier (in print or on a smartphone), available at http://www.davisenterprise.com/?p=470542, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will get 50 percent of the proceeds.

The society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The society funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
