Dingle Elementary holds annual art auction

Dingle Elementary School will hold its fifth annual art auction from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 15, at St. Luke’s Guild Hall, 515 Second St. in Woodland.

The auction features student work inspired by the colorfulness of common objects in their world, as well as donations from local artists including Tony Natsoulas, Anne Ragsdale, Chris Campbell, Terry Hollowell, Marlene Hilborn, Leo Huitt, David Hollowell, and Pete Conine.

A wine, cheese and dessert reception will be accompanied by music provided by the Pioneer High School Jazz Ensemble.

Tickets, available at the door, are $15 each, $25 for couples and $80 for a table of eight. All proceeds from the event benefit the Dingle visual and performing arts program.
