Just a Note: Just got home from interviewing with the Davis Enterprise newspaper -- Their editorial board (they will be endorsing). Hey, it is Davis, and 80% Democrat...and it was me and 3 Democrats being interviewed together. I was the only Republican in the room (I think). Doubt 'that one' will come my way--but that is OK. However, I did notice that several of my opponents and now using my vernacular (My views/standard answers) to respond to questions if they get to speak before me (Copy from prior forums). Well, if nothing else, I kept them on their toes today and shaping the debate... And never count out the 'long shot'...Especially when he is a Marine.....LOL Semper Fi

If Dodd makes it to the general election and faces Krovoza or Wolk, he stands a good chance to win. I think that because Dodd's long list of endorsements come from all over the 4th District. They are not limited to his home town. By contrast, other than the Sacramento organizations which, of course, are not in our District, the base supporters of Krovoza and Wolk are all from Davis or Yolo County. Those two seem to lack support in all of the other counties where Dodd seems to be strong. ............. What I think will be the most interesting thing to watch is to see if all of the organized labor groups--particularly the teachers--get involved heavily for Dan Wolk in the primary. If they do, Dan stands a great chance to finish in the top two. But it's possible that, while the public employees seem to favor Mr. Wolk, they won't pour their vast resources into this primary. And since Joe Krovoza has (so far) a much broader appeal, based on the far larger number of ordinary voters who are contributors to his campaign, Mayor Krovoza could push Councilman Wolk into third place, but only if the unions don't go on an anti-Krovoza attack. My guess is that every Democrat in the District will hear from Dan's union friends. Those messages will be more anti-Dodd and anti-Krovoza than pro-Wolk.
