Comments like these are really not that funny and frankly Davis is not for funny people. Davis is a serious place with serious issues and until we can figure out why we have a Toad Tunnel everyone should just back off and quit trying to make a joke about anything in Davis. Now that I think about it, why exactly do we have a Toad Tunnel? Has this been covered in any past Bob Dunning columns?

Seriously couldn’t you have come up with something better than “two cents worth”??? I’m also not sure it’s funny that Mr. Dunning will be staying in Davis instead of going on vacation. In fact this could be very serious for the people who live in his neighborhood with the increased traffic from onlookers and gawkers trying to get an autograph. It’s going to make the noise from the trains seem insignificant.

We need to raise enough money to send Bob to Oregon for his traditional vacation. If everybody in Davis sends him just 2 cents that would be enough money for a tank of gas and then everybody else would have given him their 2 cents worth.
