		<description><![CDATA[There certainly is proof positive of global warming, but obviously the weather just in Davis won&#039;t be that proof.  If it&#039;s *global* warming, then you should look at the whole globe.  That&#039;s what NASA does.  You should also average over at least a year, and better yet over 5 years.  Using NASA&#039;s color coded animations, you can watch the temperature deviation move from blue, colder than in the 1960s, to red, warmer than in the 1960s.

Given what humanity has done with carbon dioxide, as well as soot and methane, there is plenty enough reason to believe that witnessed global warming is man-made.  The question now is how much damage we will cause and how fast.

I don&#039;t mean to sound humorless about all of this --- Bob Dunning is a fine comedian.  But if you joke around all of the time, it can be hard to learn the material.]]></description>
