Soprano Catherine Webster and violinist Maia Naomi Silberstein will return to Davis to perform songs and sonatas of early 17th-century Italy together with local early music specialists Elisabeth Reed, baroque cello, and Katherine Heater, harpsichord.

Webster and Silberstein grew up in Davis and graduated from Davis High School in 1990 and 1985, respectively. Both were music students of the late Dick Brunelle.

The program includes works by Monteverdi, Castello, Marini and Uccellini. It will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at Davis Community Church, 412 C St. in downtown Davis.

Admission is free but donations will be accepted with gratitude.
