By From page A7 | December 09, 2012

A Davis resident was hospitalized Wednesday following a car-versus-pedestrian collision near the Davis Police Department, authorities said.

Lt. Glenn Glasgow said Yanni Bi was crossing the intersection of Fifth Street and Cantrill Drive and was hit by a slow-moving vehicle maneuvering through the roundabout shortly before 5:30 p.m.

Bi sustained minor injuries and was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, according to the Davis Fire Department. The driver, Marion London of Davis, was not hurt in the incident, which Glasgow said remains under investigation.
