Easter eggs and penny postcards at Hattie Weber Museum

By From page A9 | March 29, 2013

On Saturday, the Hattie Weber Museum of Davis will offer Davis children the opportunity to find a jelly bean-filled Easter egg hidden in the museum.

For adults, there is a special exhibit of Easter penny postcards. Dora Schlosser lived in Blacks Station (now Zamora) between 1910 and 1913. She saved postcards sent to her from friends and family for holidays, including Easter. Her Easter postcards will be displayed Saturday in a special exhibit at the museum at 445 C St. in Central Park.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted with gratitude. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays.
