Enjoy Philippine folktales and dancing at I-House

Nancy Clemente, of the Davis-Yolo County Filipinos group, will present a program on her native country from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 15, as part of the Children’s International Storytelling Program at International House, Davis, 10 College Park.
She will share stories from her childhood: “Juan Tamad” and “The Turtle and the Monkey.” There also will be a demonstration and teaching of the traditional Philippine tinikling dance.
The program is designed for children ages 4 to 9, with accompanying adults.
