Expert cancels but fluoridation meeting stands

Due to a family illness, fluoridation expert Paul Connett has been forced to cancel his visit to Davis and Sacramento this week, local organizers announce. A planned book-signing Friday at The Avid Reader has been canceled.

However, the organizational meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday will go on as planned in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. The meeting will feature a video presentation on the case against fluoridating a city’s water supply followed by a question-and-answer session.
