The Davis Flower Arrangers will meet Wednesday, Nov. 7, to enjoy a program by a noted flower gardener and arranger from the Bay Area.
Cheryl Feuerborn is a member of the Founders Council of Judges in San Francisco and is a prominent member of the Bay Area Arrangers Guild, the Petaluma Garden Club and the Santa Rosa Garden Club. Her program at International House, 10 College Park in Davis, will follow a brief business meeting beginning at 7 p.m.
Feuerborn recently received the Award for Design Excellence (Best of Show) at the Founders Council of Judges’ Flower Show, part of the annual San Francisco Flower and Garden Show. There were 101 designs in the show.
Gardening has brought her a Gardener of the Year Award in both the Burbank District (Santa Rosa) and the Petaluma Garden Club. Fuerborn’s demonstration will include flowers from her own garden.
In addition to being a hairdresser, she teaches flower arranging and will incorporate some of her experiences as a teacher into her presentation.
For more information, contact one of the co-presidents, Phyllis Baecker at 530-758-7814 or Tina Crutcher at 530-662-9035. Refreshments will be served and visitors are welcome.
