Explore suffering to take charge of destiny

“Beyond Suffering: A Conversation with Richard Darsie” will be offered from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, in the library at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis, 27074 Patwin Road.

Darsie, a Shambhala guide at the Davis Shambhala Meditation Center, will lead a Buddhist exploration of suffering, helping participants to understand suffering in order to take charge of their destiny.

Light refreshments will be provided, but participant are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.

The event is free, but donations are gladly accepted. More details can be found at www.uudavis.org. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to Kate Raymond at [email protected] or (530) 753-2581, ext. 104.
