Shoppers will find a bounty of local farm products at the Sutter Davis Hospital Farmers Market on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital’s entrance, 2000 Sutter Place.

Small-farm vendors at this market offer summer produce, local olive oil, honey and eggs and baked goods. Upper Crust Bakery in Davis sells whole-grain breads — including its award-winning bird-seed bread — plus cookies and apple tarts, and the Collins Farm in Davis features blackberries, jams, blackberry pies and crisps.

Market items also include honey from Sola Bee Farms in Woodland; award-winning, extra virgin olive oil from Grumpy Goats Farm in Capay Valley; grapes, peaches, plums, pluots and nectarines from Neufeld Farms in Kingsburg; Asian melons from Food Tree Field Organic Farm in Meridian; assorted summer produce from Chavez Farms in Esparto; local eggs from Isolte Farms in Esparto; and vine-ripe tomatoes, peaches, nectarines, potatoes, onions, garlic, greens and other produce from Toledo Farms in Lodi.

The market accepts EBT cards, WIC and senior coupons. Shoppers with no cash in hand can purchase market scrip using debit or credit cards.
