Film examines marketing to kids

Parents who are wondering what and who’s behind marketing to children are invited to a free screening of the film “Consuming Kids: The Commercialization of Childhood.” The film examines the practices of a marketing machine that sells kids everything from junk food to violent video games.

The film will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at the Davis Waldorf School, 3100 Sycamore Lane. A moderated discussion will follow.
