Food Co-op celebrates its members

The Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St. in downtown Davis, is planning a member appreciation party at the store on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Members and their guests are invited to stop by to enjoy bounce houses, a community art project, samples and a raffle.

The Davis Food Co-op is a full-line, member-owned supermarket specializing in natural, organic and minimally processed foods. The Co-op is open to the general public to shop and join. Members pay the shelf price while nonmembers pay a 5 percent surcharge.
