Tickets to the Davis Food Co-op’s annual membership meeting on Sunday, May 18, are available now to members. The meeting is a chance for members to get a financial snapshot of the Co-op and hear what board members and management have to say about the past year.
It’s also a chance for members to talk together, and to hear from director candidates who are up for election this month.
“Because it’s a Sunday night, we’re offering more substantial fare,” says director Bija Young — chili, cornbread and salad. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available as well.
The dinner will take place at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. A children’s area will be set up for self-entertainment.
The event is free, but tickets are required in advance. Register for tickets at davisfood.coop or call Julie Cross at 530-758-2667, ext. 139.
Tickets are limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Members may request up to four per membership, along with up to four additional tickets for children.
