Summer is fast approaching and the weather is warming up, which is why PG&E and local agencies are hosting a “Beat the Heat’ workshop to share tips on how to save energy and stay safe and cool this summer.
This free workshop runs from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Winters Public Safety Facility, 700 Main St. in Winters.
PG&E representatives will talk about free ways to decrease your energy costs, provide information on the utility’s financial assistance programs, share tips on energy efficiency and explain how customers can put their SmartMeter to work, and help with billing questions.
Information tables will be staffed by representatives of PG&E, RISE Inc. and the Capital Region Red Cross. Spanish-speaking representatives will be available.
