By April 22, 2011

The Sacramento Valley chapter of the California Native Plant Society announces “Gardens Gone Native,” its first garden tour. This free, self-guided tour of home gardens and other landscapes features California native plants at 19 locations in and around Sacramento, including several in Davis.

Some gardens also include outdoor art, water harvesting techniques, pollinator plants and edible landscaping. Homeowners or other native plant enthusiasts will be on hand at each site to answer questions.

The tour will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1. Register by mail at [email protected] with “GGN Registration” on the subject line.
