Free grief support groups available In New Year

Yolo Hospice offers free, drop-in support groups which are continuously available. Have your questions answered and your concerns address in a supportive environment led by a qualified facilitator. Take part at a level of participation that is comfortable for you, attending as often as you would like.

These groups are available to anyone experiencing grief and provide support through mutual understanding and education. Registration is not necessary, and there is no fee to participate. Below is a list of current drop-in groups available for participation.

* Adult grief support groups from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Yolo Hospice, 1909 Galileo Court, Suite A, Davis.

* Adult grief support groups from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays at Yolo Hospice, 1909 Galileo Court, Suite A, Davis.

* Adult grief support group from 10:30 to noon the second and fourth Monday of each month at Yolo Family Services Agency on 455 First St. Woodland.
