Learn French vegan cooking

By March 1, 2011

Local residents can learn French vegan cooking at a class from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at International House, 10 College Park in Davis. Michel Mace will teach participants how to make salad Nicoise and ratatouille, and the class will be taught in French.

The cost is $10 per person, limited to eight participants. Register in advance by calling (530) 753-5007.

“Our Turkish cooking class was a big hit,” said Elisabeth Sherwin, executive director. “People seem to enjoy the cooking classes quite a bit. We also are going to offer an Indian cooking class in April. After everyone watches the cooking demonstration, they sit down at a communal table and eat dinner together.”
