The Sutter Davis Hospital Farmers Market brings farm-fresh food to West Davis on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 29. The market — located at the hospital’s main entrance, 2000 Sutter Place — is filled with farm-fresh produce, local honey, eggs and olive oil, baked goods, flowers, plants and garden starts.

Market shoppers this week will find apricots, peaches, plums and nectarines from Neufeld Farms in Kingsburg; carrots, potatoes, beets, onions, garlic and other produce from Toledo Farms in Lodi; assorted vegetables from Chavez Farms in Esparto; local honey and honey sauces from Henry’s Bullfrog Bees; local eggs and extra virgin olive oils from Pasture 42 in Guinda; plus garden starts and potted plants, large and small, from Boucher Plants in Suisun City.

Upper Crust Bakery of Davis will offer a wide variety of breads and baked goods.

The hospital’s market accepts EBT cards, WIC and senior coupons. Shoppers with no cash in hand also can purchase market scrip using debit or credit cards.
