All are welcome to join the ongoing Active Older Adult Discussion Group from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

The free discussion group meets on the second Thursday of each month to explore aspects of the conscious aging movement, seeking to mine the wisdom of long lives and find effective ways to share and pass on legacies. Rabbi Zalman Schacter-Shalomi and Ronald Miller’s book, “From Age-ing to Sage-ing,” serves as a guide for discussion and activities. This month’s topic will be “Facing Fears of Aging.”

No reservations are required. The Blanchard Room is accessible for people with disabilities. For more information, contact Joan Tuss at 530-757-5588 or [email protected].
