The fifth annual “Country In The Hills” fundraiser is planned for Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Yin Ranch in Vacaville, with proceeds going toward a project to put holiday wreaths on the graves of all veterans at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for a tri-tip dinner, a no-host bar, auctions and a dance to music by the California Cowboys. Guests must be 21 years and older. Tickets are $50 each, and tables of eight are $350. They may be purchased at California Outdoor Properties, 707 Merchant St. in Vacaville, or by email to Susie Stocking at [email protected].

The wreaths will be laid starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road in Dixon. The public is welcome to attend.
